GREENBURGH, NY — The Town of Greenburgh received a report on its financial standing from Moody's and Standard & Poor's. In an email, Supervisor Paul Feiner said Moody's gave the town its highest rating of Aaa. Standard & Poor's did the same with a AAA rating.

The town's auditors, PKF O'Connor Davies, praised Greenburgh for getting the high ratings since 2010 from Moody's and 2008 from Standard & Poor's.

S&P's comments said the town had "strong management with good financial policies and practices under our financial management assessment methodology." It also said, "We expect relatively high tax base growth should continue over the next two years."
