Lack of License Leads to Marijuana Violation

A 29-year-old Elmsford resident was found to be driving without a license after a traffic stop on Sept. 24 at 11:50 a.m. While his vehicle was undergoing an impound inventory, Irvington police said they discovered a 20-year-old passenger had a bag of marijuana and a pipe.Â
The driver was charged with unlicensed operation of a vehicle and the passenger, also from Elmsford, was charged with unlawful possesion of marijuana. They were both released pending a court hearing in Irvington.Â
