Well, I teach singing lessons!

Hastings has a wonderfully vibrant arts community. I love the town and the atmosphere.

Singing Lessons
What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
The construction on the Warburton Ave. bridge has made parking a bit of a challenge!
Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?
No
What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?
Seeing a student suddenly realize what s/he is capable of is absolutely thrilling, and I’m proud to help them on this course!
What’s the most innovative idea your employees or customers have had that you put into practice?
Combined workshops with acting teachers and taking students to study singing in Italy.
How do you deal with difficult customers?
Patience and deep breathing.
How does your business give back or get involved in the community?
We perform recitals and concerts at Andrus on Hudson, The Station Cafe, and at Hastings Flea.
