License Plates Snatched at Scenic Hudson Lot

After enjoying a nice stroll in the park, a 69-year-old Irvington resident returned to his 1999 Mercedes to find that his license plates were stolen.

The man said the theft occurred in the parking lot for Scenic Hudson Park at Irvington on May 2 between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The resident also believes someone tried to gain entry to the car, and said the driver’s side window appeared to have been forcibly pulled down a little.
