Mark Zuckerberg Wants Immigration Reform

The Ardsley High School graduate and Facebook founder said current policies are "unfit for today's world."

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg says the country needs the most talented and hardest working people to survive “this new economy” and that the way to achieve such a feat is with immigration reform.

“We have a strange immigration policy for a nation of immigrants,” said Zuckerberg, in a recent Washington Post editorial. “And it’s a policy unfit for today’s world.”

Zuckerberg, who attended Ardsley Schools, is joining executives from Google, Yahoo and LinkedIn to launch FWD.us, a new organization looking to impact the immigration conversation, according to a recent article in Time. The organization is looking for “comprehensive immigration reform” that would effectively secure boarders, while offering a means to gain citizenships.
