MaxPreps: Dobbs Ferry High School Football 10th in State Over Last 10 Years

The Dobbs Ferry High School football team is the 10th best in New York over the past 10 years, according to the high school sports authority MaxPreps.com.

The Eagles compiled a record of 86 -16 during the period. Other Westchester high school football teams in the Top 20 are Rye (#8), New Rochelle (#12), Tuckahoe (#15) and Bronxville (#20).

From 2004 to the present, Dobbs Ferry won three state championships, and finished in the Top 25 five times. The school’s football program reportedly was named one of New York State’s “teams of the decade” in the 1980s.
