Metro-North Train Strikes Fallen Tree

No one who was on the train was hurt, officials said.

DOBBS FERRY, NY — A northbound Metro-North train hit a tree laying across tracks just south of the Dobbs Ferry Station Monday. That resulted in delays for commuters.

The incident happened shortly before 10:40 a.m., the Journal News reported.

None of the 12 passengers or the crew who were aboard the train were hurt.
