NYC Man Riding $5,000 Bike Accused Of Burglaries In Irvington
Police think there may have been more victims.

IRVINGTON, NY — A 60-year-old New York City man who apparently went on a burglary spree around Mattheissen Park faces charges of burglary and criminal possession of stolen property, and more charges may be pending.
Irvington police received reports at 4 p.m. Tuesday of a suspicious man entering vehicles and asking people for money. They interviewed Kevin Strang, 60, on North Ferris Street. He was in possession of stolen property, they alleged. Following up on the items, they found signs of a forced-entry burglary at an unoccupied home in the neighborhood.
During the conversation with Strang, police looked at the $5,000 bicycle he was riding. They said they discovered it had been recently stolen from a different residence.
