Obituary: Barbara L. Myers Reale, 81, Formerly Of Irvington

Barbara L. Myers Reale passed away on Saturday, May 4 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her dear husband Victor Reale whom she married on October 17, 1959.

Devoted mother of Denise (Richard) Irwin, Donna Marie Mills, and Barbara (Dennis) Montaruli. Loving Grandmother to Lindsey, Alexis, Meggan, Lauren, Dennis, Victoria, and Matthew. Beloved Great Grandmother to James Thomas, Riley, and Mia. She was predeceased by her brother Melvin Myers.

Barbara was born on September 23, 1937, in North Tarrytown (Sleepy Hollow). She lived with Victor and their children in Irvington until 1997 when they moved to Cortland, Ohio. She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Cortland, OH.

Mother... a mother holds her child's hand for just a short time, but holds their hearts forever. We will never forget you mom, you will always be on our minds and in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barbara’s name to Harbor Lights Hospice, 4531 Belmont Ave, Unit 9, Youngstown, OH 44505.

A service will held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 10 at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., Dobbs Ferry, NY. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
