Police: Dobbs Ferry Restaurant Burglarized

A glass door was shattered at the scene police said.

More than $500 in cash was taken from the register of a Dobbs Ferry restaurant during the early morning hours of September 23, the Police Department reported.

Dobbs Ferry Police received a burglary alarm activation at 1:55 a.m. last Monday and responded to Scaramella's Ristorante on Southfield Avenue, where they found the side patio glass door had been shattered.

A cash register drawer that contained $550 was missing, police said, but nothing else was gone.

Police said they believe the break-in occurred sometime between 1:49 and 1:55 a.m.
