Police: Hastings Man Smoked Marijuana in Public
The village man was arrested and was due in court this week.
A Hastings man faces a misdemeanor-level marijuana charge after he was arrested by police on the afternoon of September 18.
The Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force reported the 20-year-old was smoking marijuana in a Southside Avenue parking lot at 12:43 p.m. in the afternoon.
He was formally charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the Fifth Degree and processed at Hastings-on-Hudson police headquarters.
He was then released on his own recognizance with a court appearance ticket.
