Police: Student Falsely Pulls School Fire Alarm

A 16-year-old student at Bethune High School was admitted to Westchester County Behavioral Center after being accused of pulling a stairwell fire alarm on Feb. 22.

A Bethune High School Student, located on Children’s Village campus in Dobbs Ferry, is accused of falsely pulling a fire alarm in the school stairwell after refusing to remove his shoes at the request of school staff members. 

The 16-year-old, who had threatened to harm himself, was brought to the Westchester County Behavioral Center for treatment after the incident, which occurred around 8:40 a.m. on Feb. 22.

No charges were filed against the teen.
