She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Charles Bronz, and her daughter Shelley.
Survivors include her son Edgar Louis Jr., his wife Mary Irene, her daughter Francine, four grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lois Bronz Children’s Center, 30 Manhattan Ave., White Plains, NY 10607.
Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner said Bronz was a trailblazer who made their community a much better place.
“Lois did so much for the local day care center next to the Theodore Young Community Center that the board in 2006 voted to rename the center in honor of Lois,” he said.
“She will be missed, but thousands of people will continue to benefit from her initiatives and dedicated service,” Feiner said.
