Raptor rehabilitation experts said the bird was too malnourished to survive.
ELMSFORD, NY — A rescued snowy owl, being cared for by a Connecticut raptor rehabilitation organization, has died.
The bird was found by an Elmsford wildlife photographer who took its picture Friday and saw that by the next day it hadn’t move, the Journal News said.
The photographer took it to A Place Called Hope in Killingworth, CT, but the owl was too malnourished to survive.
