Sprain Brook Parkway Lane Closures Planned For Friday P.M.

Motorists are advised to expect significant delays.

GREENBURGH, NY — The state Department of Transportation wants motorists to know that two lanes on the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway, between Route 100C and the Interstate 287 East exit toward White Plains, are expected to be closed beginning at approximately 5 p.m. Friday, April 6, and are expected to reopen by 5 p.m. Saturday, April 7, while crews perform important maintenance activities.

Motorists are advised to expect significant delays.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
