State Allocates Funding For Repaving Roads

The projects being funded are scattered around the state, including the Hudson Valley.

HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, NY — New York State has allotted $128 million in new funding for roadways affected by this year's harsh winter weather. Funding will support 91 paving projects and the renewal of about 1,000 lane miles of pavement across the state, including at least one project in every county and the City of New York.

That more than doubles what the state had previously allotted— $100 million — earlier this year for local projects that renew about 3,700 lane miles of road across the state.

The funding includes projects throughout the Hudson Valley, including Hastings-on-Hudson.
