Sunshine On The Way First In Dobbs Ferry

DOBBS FERRY, NY — Sunshine is coming. Saturday and Sunday clouds will diminish and temperatures will climb to slightly above seasonal normals, reaching into the lower 80s across much of the Hudson Valley.
"Conditions should improve over the weekend, slowly … as the sun should slowly return over the next day or two," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter at Hudson Valley Weather. "Then our eyes turn to the remnants of Hurricane Florence, which will get caught in a frontal trough and likely rotate northward toward the Hudson Valley by late Monday and into Tuesday."

- Saturday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 80. Light and variable wind.
- Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
- Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Light and variable wind becoming southeast around 6 mph in the afternoon.
- Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.
