Two Drivers Hit Pedestrians in Irvington

There were no charges filed in either of the incidents.

Two Rivertowns residents were hit by cars in separate incidents in Irvington.

On April 6, a 38-year-old female Hastings-on-Hudson resident was walking southbound and was hit by a 72-year-old driver from Irvington at Hudson Road West and Bertha Place around 9:45 a.m. The driver said she just didn’t see the pedestrian, but did stop after she struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to Phelps Hospital. No charges were filed.

A 55-year-old Irvington woman struck a 27-year-old Irvington resident with her as she was crossing Main Street near the Aqueduct Parking lot around 8:10 a.m. on April 10. The victim complained of pain in her foot, but did not request medical attention. No charges were filed against the driver.
