3 Men Shot In Nassau, 1 In Critical Condition

Police say a 17-year-old and two others were shot in Baldwin last night. Anyone with information is asked to come forward.

BALDWIN, NY — Three people were shot in Baldwin Tuesday night, and Nassau County police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

According to police, officers responded to a call for shots fired at the intersection of Edna Court and Haig Street at 10:46 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.

Two other men were also shot, and managed to get themselves to hospitals before police arrived. One, a 21-year-old man, had a gunshot wound to his arm, and is in stable condition. The other, a 20-year-old man, had a gunshot wound to his stomach, and is currently in critical condition.

Police ask anyone with information about this shooting to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS, or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
