4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Canceled In Rockville Centre
Rockville Centre's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate Independence Day.
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Although coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, many Independence Day celebrations have once again been canceled, modified or will be held virtually due to the pandemic.
Rockville Centre's fireworks have been canceled, and although the village did not have a specific Independence Day alternative, they did bring back the Family Night in the Park series.
Performances will take place July 16 and July 30 at the Village Green from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., while several food trucks will line Maple Avenue, a spokesperson for the village told Patch.
