Bethany House Holds 17th Annual Fashion Show and Awards Dinner

Bethany House, a composite of residential options and services for women and children who struggle with homelessness, will be holding its 17th Annual Fashion Show & Awards Dinner, Wednesday, October 17th, from 6-9pm. The Fundraiser will be held at Rockville Links Club in Rockville Centre. Cocktails start at 6PM with dinner and fashion show to follow.

Shira Benedetto, M.A. (pictured) will be honored during the event as the “Woman of Compassion:” Shira is a renowned Psychic Medium, Empath, Reconnective Energy Healer, Reiki Master/Teacher & Psychic Mediumship Development Teacher. Shira has been nominated Best Psychic Long Island for the past four years in a row. Shira has given her time and talents to help raise funds for Bethany House at the annual Psychic Experience Fundraiser for many years.
Fashions for the ladies will be supplied by Ann Taylor Loft in Oceanside and Bridal World of Freeport. The models hair will be done complimentary by StudioTen31 in Baldwin and make up by Mary Kay representatives. Casual, business and evening attire will be modeled by Bethany House residents and “graduates.”
A Chinese auction of over 40 baskets, bursting with gift certificates from local merchants and restaurants, as well as many beautiful gifts, will be raffled. A selection of grand prize baskets, worth over $400.00 each, will also be raffled.

Tax-deductible tickets are $85 per person. Tables are available for groups of 10-12 people. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event for all raffle prizes. For reservations, please visit the website at: http://www.bhny.org.
