Board of Ed Meeting, Networking Event

Here are some things coming up this week:

• Mercy Medical Center will offer free screenings for prostate cancer on Tuesday starting at 5 p.m.
• The Rockville Centre Board of Education will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
• The village zoning board will hold a meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
• The Rockville Centre chapter of Elephant Networking will host an event at Kasey's on Thursday at  6 p.m.
  
• First United Methodist Church will host a fall fair on Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
  
• This week's school events include: high school dinner on the run on Monday at 5 p.m., HS back-to-school night on Monday at 7 p.m.; elementary back-to-school night on Tuesday starting at 6:30 p.m. (check calendar for your school); Covert PTA meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.; Riverside Buddy Breakfast on Friday at 9 a.m.
