Cops: Man Who Robbed 2 Banks Found in Stolen Car
The Valley Stream man was charged with robbing two banks in about 20 minutes last week, cops said.

A Valley Stream man who robbed two banks in about 20 minutes was found Saturday in a stolen car, according to Nassau County Police.
Cops say Elvi Rodriguez, 32, is the man who robbed Citibank, located at 297 Merrick Rd. in Rockville Centre, at 1:18 p.m. Tuesday. At 1:40 p.m. the same day, he robbed Roslyn Savings Bank, located at 3140 Long Beach Rd. in Oceanside, police said.
Rodriguez was found at 4:13 p.m. in a stolen 2009 Suzuki SX4 outside of an Arlyn Drive E. home in Massapequa, cops said.

Rodriguez was charged with two counts of third-degree robbery, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and resisting arrest. He will be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
