Larceny

  • The complainant, a doctor from North Village Avenue, reported to police on Oct. 21 that sometime between Oct. 19 at 2:30 p.m. and Oct. 21 at 10 a.m., an unknown person(s) stole NYS prescriptions and $25 from his office without permission.

  • A complainant from Brower Avenue reported to police on Oct. 26 that sometime between 2 and 2:55 p.m., an unknown person(s) damaged the passenger side window to a 2008 Ford vehicle parked at 111 Oceanside Rd. and stole personal property including a Tumi backpack.

  • A complainant from Vassar Place reported to police on Oct. 26 that sometime since 2:30 p.m., an unknown person(s) entered an unsecured 2008 GMC motor vehicle parked at 111 Oceanside Rd. and stole personal property including $100 and a Chase debit card.

  • A complainant from Woodmere reported to police on Oct. 27 at 9:23 p.m. that an unknown person(s) stole an Apple iPhone valued at $700 from the restroom of Fantasy Theater, located at 18 North Park Ave.

    Unusual Incident

    • A complainant from Atkinson Road reported to police on Oct. 22 that sometime since Oct. 21, an unknown person(s) made three deposits and one withdrawal from his TD Bank account without authorization.  

  • A complainant from Smith Street reported to police on Oct. 22 that sometime since Oct. 21, an unknown person(s) made a $208.66 purchase against her Signature Bank debit card account without authorization.  

  • A complainant from Hendrickson Avenue reported to police on Oct. 23 that sometime since Oct. 20, an unknown person(s) attempted to make an unauthorized purchase against her Chase Freedom Visa account.

  • A complainant from Salem Road reported to police on Oct. 23 that a neighbor was observed with what appeared to be a rifle.

  • A complainant from Seaman Avenue reported to police on Oct. 25 that an unknown person(s) made a clothing purchase of $378.01 from an online store against his American Express account without authorization.

    • Property Damage

    • A complainant from North Village Avenue reported to police on Oct. 27 that sometime between Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 27 at 9:40 a.m., the front fender to her 2012 VW Jetta was damaged by unknown means while parked in front of the residence.

    • A complainant from Intervale reported to police on Oct. 27 that sometime since 11 a.m., the driver side doors and trunk area to her 2011 Infiniti vehicle was damaged by unknown means while parked in the driveway of the residence.
