Crime Watch: Resident Robbed at Gunpoint on Meehan Lane
Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrest:
On May 7 at 6:38 p.m., Joseph Epstein, 58, of Freeport, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following an accident investigation by police personnel on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.
On May 11 at 6:54 p.m., Ricky G. Hanson, 54, of Rockville Centre, was arrested for an open bench warrant for possession of an open container of alcohol in Roosevelt on Sept. 22, 2007 following an investigation by police personnel on Morgan Days Drive in Rockville Centre.
Robbery:
On May 13 at 7 p.m., a complainant from Meehan Lane in Rockville Centre reported that four male acquaintances robbed him of $1,100 at gunpoint while he was at a Meehan Lane, Rockville Centre residence attempting to purchase an iPhone for $150. The four subjects also reportedly punched and kicked the victim while in front of the residence causing injuries to his nose and mouth.
Burglary:
On May 7 at 7:27 a.m., a complainant from Banks Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between May 4 at 7 p.m. and May 6 at 11:30 a.m., unknown person(s) stole jewelry that included a Breitling Bently watch valued at $50,000 from a bedroom closet.
On May 7 at 10 p.m., a complainant from S. Forest Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between noon and 10 p.m., unknown person(s) damaged an apartment window, ransacked his apartment, and stole a bottle of Brugal Rum valued at $50.
Larceny:
On May 7 at 3:48 p.m., a complainant from N. Village Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 9:40 a.m. and 1 p.m., unknown person(s) stole personal property that included credit cards from underneath her seat at work.
On May 12 at 9:45 p.m., a complainant from Jefferson Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) stole a purse and contents that included $240 and credit cards from her 2009 Chevrolet that was parked at Skelos Field on Peninsula Boulevard in Rockville Centre between 10:45 a.m. and 11:20 a.m.
On May 11 at 3 p.m., a complainant from Muirfield Road in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Jan. 2012 and Feb. 2012, unknown person(s) stole clothing and costume jewelry from her residence.
