With his family at his side, Emilio Grillo, the newest Rockville Centre village trustee, was sworn into office Monday at the board’s annual organization meeting.
“I’d like to thank everyone in the community for bestowing this honor upon me,” said Grillo, who previously served as a deputy village attorney. “My vow to you is to do the best with the board to make the village better than I found it.”
Trustee Edward Oppenheimer and Village Justice Kevin McDonough were also sworn in after winning their reelection bids.

Nancy Howard was once again nominated by the board as the village’s deputy mayor.
