ICYMI: Todd Kaminsky Announces Run For Nassau District Attorney

The state senator looks to fill a void of Madeline Singas, who left earlier this month to become a New York Court of Appeals judge.

MINEOLA, NY — State Senator Todd Kaminsky has officially accepted the nomination of Nassau County Democrats to become a candidate for county district attorney.

Kaminsky made the announcement Monday morning outside the D.A.'s office in Mineola.

"Making sure that Nassau remains a wonderful and safe place for families just like ours to grow is exactly why we need steady and experienced leadership at the helm of this office," Kaminsky said at the Monday news conference.
