Long Beach Student is Poster Contest Finalist

Long Beach, NY — Long Beach Middle School student Jack Klang was selected as a finalist in the "Protect Our Watershed" poster contest, sponsored by the New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC).

This year’s competition received posters from students in 16 schools across New York State. Fourteen finalists were selected by online voting performed by NYSDEC’s Division of Water staff and NYWEA members. The winning posters will be featured in a 2022 calendar.
