Long Beach Teacher Wants To Turn Feeding Hungry Into World Record

William Papetti looks to eclipse the Guinness record of most cereal books toppled like dominoes.

Long Beach, NY — Eighth-grade math teacher William Papetti is looking to help the Long Beach community, while at the same time going for a record.

Papetti wants to stock food pantries as he strives to break the Guinness World Record: Most Cereal Boxes Toppled in Domino Fashion.

The most cereal boxes toppled in a domino fashion is 3990 and was achieved by The Kansas City Centurions in Kansas City, Missouri, on January 24, 2020.

Papetti is hoping to topple 4,000 boxes for the May 27th attempt, and he launched a GoFundMe to support the effort. He wrote, "Let’s feed the world AND break a world record in the process!"

He has a GoFundMe goal of $8,000 for the project. Papetti said on the page that all donations will go toward purchasing cereal boxes for the record run. After that, the cereal will get shipped to food pantries to feed the hungry.
