Malverne Goalie plays great game

Due to a school weekend ski trip the Spartans call on forward Harrison Chesney to play goal for them yesterday against a tough Bellmore/Merrick team. Besides the fact that our 2 regular playing goalies Brian Albertsen and Sean Hurwitz were on that trip, the Spartans team were missing 7 players in total. Due to the realignment of the middle school division some travel players are having trouble making the games. Harrison a Malverne resident stepped in and played a spectacular game allowing only 2 goals. It was a tough game, the Bellmore/Merrick team took 5 penalties and the Spartans remained disciplined with none. Spartans goals were from Jimmy Hennessy and Brendan Daly assists from Tim Cappitelli,Tony Marco and Brett Dougan.
