Man Charged With Assault At His Home: Rockville Centre Police

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The Rockville Centre Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests for the week ending April 5. All charges are merely accusations.
Larceny
- On March 31 at 6:10 p.m., a Long Beach resident reported a friend stole his mobile phone.
- On March 31 at 5:27 p.m., a Jefferson Avenue resident reported that his bicycle was stolen from the garage of his apartment building.
- On April 2 at 4:20 p.m., a Huntington Station resident reported that money was stolen from her pocketbook while she was inside an Oceanside Road business.

- On March 29 at 2:52 p.m., a Combes Avenue resident reported someone filed for unemployment benefits using her name.
- On March 31 at 10:59 a.m., a Westminster Road resident reported someone filed for unemployment benefits using her name.
- On April 2 at 10:11 a.m., a Lakeview Avenue resident reported someone sent photos of him to the contacts listed in his phone.
Arrests
- On March 29 at 1:53 a.m., Juan Siliezar, 40, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault at his home on Lee Avenue.
- On March 30 at 3:20 p.m., Edibaldo Vargas, 29, was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment at a Sunrise Highway business.
