Molloy To Hold In-Person, Drive-In Style Graduation Ceremony
The college announced the plan, which will include both the classes of 2020 and 2021.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Molloy College announced today that it will be holding a two-day, drive-in, socially distanced graduation ceremony in May, allowing families to watch the ceremony from the safety of their cars.
The ceremonies will take place on May 18 and 19 in Molloy's Madison Theatre before a socially distanced group of administration and faculty. Students will queue up outside the theater, cross the stage to accept their degrees and exit the theater and return to their waiting families in their cars outside.
The graduation ceremony will be open to both the classes of 2021 and 2020, which is being invited back to participate in the ceremony. The class of 2020 had its in-person graduation ceremony canceled last year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“We are so happy that we will be able to provide graduates with a more traditional commencement ceremony here on our campus,” said Molloy President James Lentini. “We also have invited the class of 2020 to join us so that they, too, can enjoy one of the most important rituals for students.”
All commencement activities will be in accordance with the guidelines of state and local health officials. More information on the commencement ceremony can be found here.
