Nancy Howard Named Rockville Centre Village Administrator
She fills the void left by the departure of Kathleen Murray in June.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — After eight years as a member of the Rockville Centre Board of Trustees, Nancy Howard has been appointed village administrator.
Howard comes into the new position after also serving as deputy mayor.
She worked closely with all departments within the village and was involved in numerous projects, including infrastructure upgrades, the village said.

"I have full confidence in Nancy Howard’s ability to handle the rigors of this appointment." Mayor Francis Murray said in a statement. "She has been an integral part of village government for the better part of a decade, and knows the ins and outs of the job."
Howard had an integral part on the recently created Rockville Centre Beautification Committee.

Her new role follows the departure of Village Administrator Kathleen Murray, who held the position from 2016 through June 2021.
