Nursing Through the Decades

Molloy celebrates 100 years of nursing and opening of new doctoral nursing program with fashion show.

To celebrate the opening of Molloy's first doctoral nursing program, as well as 100 years of nursing, the school hosted an all-day celebration, featuring a fashion show that showcased nurses' uniforms from throughout the century.

Dean of Nursing, Dr. Jeannie Muldoon, said that Molloy wanted to celebrate the legacy of Florence Nightingale, as well as its new program. "The influence of the Molloy nurse is significant," she said. "We expect our graduates from the program to play a key role in health care policies. It's important to take the time out to reflect and celebrate."
