Oceanside Resident's Trek on 'Survivor' Starts Wednesday
Allie Pohevitz takes on an island of competitors in Survivor: Caramoan.

Oceanside resident Allie Pohevitz will make her television debut Wednesday night on the brand new season of "Survivor: Caramoan."
The 25-year-old is competing on the 26th season of the hit CBS show, which will pit a tribe of 10 "fans" against a tribe of 10 "favorites." Pohevitz will be a part of the former.

"She's got an attitude. She's got a mouth," Survivor host Jeff Probst said of Pohevitz in a season preview. "... "She doesn't mind getting scrappy, but the likability is tough, because on Survivor you either have to sit next to people who are less likable than you or you have to genuinely be likable enough to overcome the fact that you just voted out the jury."
