PREVIEW: Tuesday's RVC Schools Public Work Session

A public work session of the Rockville Centre Board of Education will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 8, in the board room of the district office at 6 p.m., at which time the board is expected to immediately retire into executive session.

At 7:30 p.m., the board will reconvene in public session in Room 112 of South Side High School.

C. Approval of the following contracts

• Contract extension with Acme Bus Company for transportation services to Holy Child Academy from October 23, 2012 to June 30, 2013, total anticipated cost of $17,982.00. Initial contract dated May 24, 2012.
• Contract with School for Language and Communication Development for special education services for the 2011/2012 School year, pursuant to NYS Flow Through Law.
• Contract with School for Language and Communication Development for special education services for the 2011/2012 School year, pursuant to NYS Flow Through Law.
• Contract with Adelphi University for PEP Grant Quantitative Program  Evaluator and Clinician services from Oct. 1, 2012 to Sept. 30, 2013.
• Contract between Hempstead UFSD and the Rockville Centre UFSD
  for health and welfare services for Rockville Centre students attending
  non-public schools in Hempstead UFSD from July 1, 2012 to June 30,
  2013.

D. Approval of the following Sunday Use of Facilities

• Use of South Side Middle School Auditorium by Maple Avenue Dance on Sunday, June 9, for a dance performance. 
• Use of South Side Middle School Auditorium and three classrooms and boys' locker room by Pat's Dance Studio on Sunday, May 19, for a dance performance.

E. The following designation has been made for a Petty Cash Account:

POSSIBLE EXECUTIVE SESSION
