ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Drivers may have already started noticing some slowdowns on South Long Beach Road.

An eight-block road-work project by Nassau County's Department of Highway started June 21 It is expected to last several weeks, the Village of Rockville Centre on its website.

There are no specific times listed for the construction work, but it is expected along South Long Beach Road between Merrick Road and Lincoln Avenue.
