Rockville Centre Police Welcome New Sergeant, Officer

Sgt. Noz Firoz has been with the department since 2002, and Officer Leanna Palmer comes to Rockville Centre from the NYPD.

At a Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, the village welcomed the police department's newest sergeant and officer.

Police Commissioner James Vafeades swore in Sgt. Noz Firoz, who has been with the department since 2002, and has served as a member of the patrol force.

The commissioner also swore in new officer Leanna Palmer, who comes to Rockville Centre from the New York Police Department.
