Symphony Celebrating Bernstein's Birthday With Concert

The South Shore Symphony will be presenting a special concert in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Leonard Bernstein at the Madison Theatre at Molloy College on Nov. 18.

In honor of Bernstein's birthday, the orchestra will perform Bernstein's Second Symphony, "The Age of Anxiety" and "Symphonic Dances from West Side Story." The program also includes Ira Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" with pianist Dmitry Glivinskiy.
