Village Art Club presents 2014 Fall Members Show awards

The Village Art Club of Rockville Centre concluded its Fall 2014 Membership Show at the Rockville Centre Public Library with its Awards Reception on October 18. More than 60 artworks competed for prizes.

Show Judge Suzanne Young cited three portraits for Awards of Excellence. The winners Jeffrey Lipson, Tony Casaccio and Hilda Muxo Klinger.

A special Judge’s Award was presented to Jane Colgan. The Club’s Newcomer Award (sponsored by Blick Art Supplies went to Eva Berger.

Five Awards of Merit and four 3rd Prizes were also presented at the Reception.

VAC holds two Membership Shows each year in Spring and Fall
