RYE, NY — The polls have closed and the early vote counts are in. Here are the unofficial results in the 2021 Rye primary elections.
Rye Mayoral race:
Mayor Joshua D. Cohn appears to have defeated Danielle Tagger-Epstein, winning the right to be the Democratic candidate in November. Incumbent Cohn had been endorsed by County Executive George Latimer, as well as both the Rye Democrats and Rye City Republicans.

"Rye voters, I thank you for your confidence and look forward to moving us forward together," Cohn said in a social media post Tuesday night.
Westchester County Clerk race:

Incumbent Timothy Idoni appears to have fended off a challenge by Yonkers City Councilperson Shanae Williams in the race for Westchester County Clerk with a number of absentee ballots still outstanding. Idoni had the backing of Westchester County Executive George Latimer.
