Traffic Warning: Post Road Bridge Closure

The NY State Thruway Authority will be CLOSING the Boston Post Bridge in Rye, between Cedar Street and the entrance ramp to I287 West. The bridge will be closed beginning July 6th and is expected to continue until September 1st. The City expects heavy delays throughout the area including the downtown, the I-287 ramp, Midland Ave, Cedar Street, Purdy Ave and Peck Ave.

Please avoid the area to the extent possible and take alternate routes as posted. Please direct all questions to NYST: 1-800-847-8929.
