85-Year-Old Rye Woman Dies In Fire

RYE, NY — A 85-year-old woman died in a house fire Saturday in Rye. She was identified by authorities as Cecelia Kussner.

She was found unconscious in her Midland Avenue home on the second floor, the Journal News said.

Firefighters from Rye, Harrison and the village and town of Mamaroneck battled the blaze which began around 12:10 a.m.
