Christmas 2017: Grocery Stores Open/Closed Near Rye

RYE, NY—When shopping for your holiday meals, make a list and check it twice. Then note which stores are open during the holidays, in case you forgot an important ingredient. Holiday hours vary for grocery stores, chain stores and pharmacies. Here's a round-up of the openings and closings we found.

Aldi

All Aldi stores are closed on Christmas Day and will be open limited hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Trader Joe's
Stores will be closed on Christmas Day and will close at 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve.
Whole Foods
Stores will be closed on Christmas Day and will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on New Year's Eve. They will also open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on New Year's Day.
Costco
Stores will be closed on New Year's Day and closed on Christmas.
Target
All stores will open at 7 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Stores will be closed on Christmas. On New Year's Eve, all stores open at regular time — either 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. — and will close at 9
p.m. or 10 p.m. On New Year's Day, all stores open at regular time and will close at 10 p.m., 11 p.m. or midnight.
Sam's Club
Stores will be closed on New Year's Day and closed on Christmas.
Walmart
Stores will be closed on Christmas and open on regular hours on New Year's Day.
CVS
On Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day, select CVS Pharmacy stores will be open and
front store and pharmacy hours will vary by location. For a list of CVS Pharmacy locations in a given area, customers can go here. CVS pharmacies within Target stores will also be closed on Christmas Day.

Walgreens

Each individual Walgreen’s store has it’s own set of holiday business hours and customers are best advised to contact their preferred store for store hours. Walgreens is always closed for business on Christmas Day, but Christmas Eve hours and New Year's Day hours vary depending on the individual store.

ShopRite
Many ShopRite stores are independently owned and operated, so holiday hours will vary. ShopRite customers should check their local store's Facebook page or call the store to check holiday hours.

Hannaford

Hannaford stores will be open on Christmas Eve but closed on Christmas. Stores will be open on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Addams Fairacre Farms

Addams' three locations in Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Newburgh and Wappingers will be closed on Christmas Day.

7-Eleven

Most stores are open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Stewart's Shops

Stewart's is open Christmas Eve but not Christmas Day.
