RYE, NY—Little beats a good county fair. Ferris wheels, carousels, live music, livestock shows, and a host of delicious fair treats such as curly fries and corn dogs make for a fun one-of-a-kind day. There are dozens of fairs around New York State and although a few took place early in July there are still plenty to visit. Consider planning a mini vacation around a nostalgic trip to a county fair. A few end today but there are a few more that have yet to happen.
