The Principle Chapters (Pirkei Avot) is the foundational wisdom text of the Mishnah, and all of rabbinic Judaism. In this session we will consider the sections dealing with the cultivation of wisdom and their meaning for our lives.

Sunday Morning @ Wainwright House: Hineini/I Am Here: A Jewish Roadmap for A Spiritual Life
In this session, Rabbi Kleinberg will draw on biblical, rabbinic, and mystical Jewish themes, as well as his own personal experiences as a seeker, to describe the Jewish roadmap for a spiritual life. No prior knowledge of Judaism is required to participate.

Darren Kleinberg is an ordained rabbi (YCT) and a holds a PhD in Religious Studies (ASU), where he explored the intersection of sociology and theology through the prism of American Jewish identity.

He is currently serving in his seventh year as Head of School at Kehillah Jewish High School, in Palo Alto, CA, and is a Visiting Scholar with the Concentration in Education and Jewish Studies at the Stanford Graduate School of Education. Darren teaches and writes about the cultivation of wisdom and is the author of Hybrid Judaism: Irving Greenberg, Encounter, and the Changing Nature of American Jewish Identity.
