CT Man Arrested In Rye On Pot Possession Charge
State police initially stopped the man for speeding.

RYE, NY — A traffic stop for speeding led to a drug charge for a Connecticut man. State police said they stopped a car on I-95 in the City of Rye around 12:10 p.m. May 20 for a speeding violation.
Carmichael Wright, 26, of Milford, CT was found to be in possession of about 68 grams of marijuana.
He was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, and a vehicle and traffic violation.

Wright was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Rye Court June 1.
