Congratulations to the King School Class of 2019! This group of students possesses an incredible work ethic that they have applied throughout their journey at King - in their classrooms, on the field and in the gym, and on the stage. Thanks to the tireless guidance and support of their teachers, college counselors, and families, the successes they created for themselves at King helped them earn acceptances to the best schools in the country and abroad. Just as importantly, they achieved these successes while prioritizing their relationships with each other to create a strong, healthy social culture in their class.


Colleges have recognized within the Class of 2019 future scientists, artists, athletes, urban planners, pilots, professors, and so much more. Each student has made intentional decisions about his/her/their future, and where best to spend the next four years of their lives pursuing their dreams to reach their goals. The members of the Class of 2019 have distinguished themselves in numerous ways including, but not limited to, the following:

  • National Merit Scholarship winners
  • Competitive merit scholarships covering full tuition across four years of college
  • Acceptance to highly competitive programs in science and engineering, business, and the arts
  • NCAA Athletic Scholarships

The College Counseling program at King is guided by their Mission to ensure King graduates are "equipped to succeed in college and to pursue lives of ongoing inquiry, learning, accomplishment, personal fulfillment, and social responsibility." The four-year developmental program centers on empowering students as they reflect on their passions, capabilities, and ambitions and on discovering the most competitive match for each individual. The college counselors have deep expertise in colleges and the college process as well as strong relationships with college admissions officers nationwide. The productive partnership among college counselors, students, teachers, parents, and colleges helps students discover the most competitive fit based on each student's achievements and aspirations.
