Long-Time Rye Resident Elizabeth Hicks Costikyan Dies at 87
She volunteered at United Hospital for decades.

RYE, NY — Elizabeth Hicks Costikyan, 87, a 53-year resident of Rye and Rye Brook, died peacefully at Greenwich Hospital Dec. 22, 2016. She was born in Concord, MA Nov. 6, to Ray Enders and Mollie Enders Smith. She graduated from Concord Academy in 1947.
Liz, as she was known, volunteered at United Hospital for decades. She also volunteered at the Osborn. She loved music and singing and was a member of Christ’s Church choir for over 40 years. She loved the Manursing Island Club. Passionate about baseball, she was a devout fan of the Boston Red Sox.
She is survived by daughters Jane Hallowell, Beth Hallowell Jeffery and Meg Marion Price; grandchildren Paul and Koji Bamba, Joanna Jeffery Farrell, Caroline, Jenny and Eliza Price; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. at Christ’s Church, 2 Rectory St. in Rye.
