Miyo Arita, 92, of Rye Brook, Passed Away Oct. 26

Miyo Arita, 92, a resident of Rye Brook, NY entered into eternal rest on October 26, 2015. She was born February 16, 1923 in Queens, NY to the late Kichitaro and Shaw Kajiura Taki. She was raised and educated in Flushing, NY. Mrs. Arita was an administrative assistant for Avon Products in Rye, NY and New York City. She was the widow of Minoru “Min” Arita who died June 7, 2011.

Mrs. Arita was an active member of the Rye Brook Seniors. She is survived by her devoted children Alan (Eleanor), Sandra Dunigan (Christopher), Richard (Sherry), grandchildren Robby (Lisa), Jon, Rich (KC), Kerri, Michael, Marci, Christopher, Matthew, Deanna, great grandchildren, Elijah, Miyoko, RJ, and Kaia. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her son Robert and sisters Tiyo Asai and Hanna Wang.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Thursday October 29, 2015 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be 10AM on Friday October 30, 2015 at the funeral home.
